Sadly will have to get two new rear tyres tomorrow 255 35 r18 Michelin pilot sport 2 .... Never a nice experiance probably cost the cheapest - sadly they have a deal on but you have to buy 4 my fronts are fine still 6mm rears 2mm or limit. Used 1mm in 5k miles so don't think that's so bad.

With the tyres will probably use costco always been so efficient all the tools and cracking prices and nitrogen. Thing is should I even bother thinking about the p zeros? Or the corsas?
Note I'm expecting these rears to last best part of 40k miles with little hanging about else I'd have gone for the 320d or lesser model.

So opinions please. I really am fond of michelin note will be non run flats too. Michelin on all my cars have managed huge milages far mire than anything else for not really too much more wedge.

Buy 4 keep two spare as they will only get more expensive meaning next tyre change its a mere 20 quid for fitting as pain has already been done.

Good luck.
I've just put ContiSC3s on mine now the Falkens it came on have worn out.
Had them for years on my old E46 and was very happy with them.

I hear a rumour that people can sell part worn tyres (or new ones) on something called the interwebnets.

but I'd keep the new set on it until worn out and potentially if I looked after them & I bought 4 then I handed car back I'd have 2 brand new rear tyres which would be 3.5yrs old

You have 4 tyres. 2 are worn. So you have 2 good tyres.

You buy 4 new ones to take advantage of some deal. So you have 6 tyres. 2 part worn.

You fit the 4 new tyres, and in the next few days sell the 2 part worn tyres.

You now have 4 tyres on a car. And no other tyres.

Sadly front tyres are different size ie iirc 225 35 r18 while the rears are 255 35 r18

would totally do as you recommend otherwise.

MPS are £200 a tyre. You could save a whole lot of money by buying the much loved Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta at £110 delivered each then get a local fitter to fit them...

If I see a 330d around in the next few days with BFG Mud Terrains on the back I'll know you ordered before you sobered up. . . . . . .

2 lovely new Michelin pilot sport 3's all in with nitrogen each cost £170 fro
costco after the discount happy with that.

Decided to get two new tyres for the Volvo hence got the deal as two were on the limit or between limit and 2mm so now all done.

Never nice to pay out but once it's done that's 3-4 years without any further pain on that front

Good choice - Michelin PS is a very fine tyre IMO. Especially when you've ditched some run-flats.

Some people think the Michelins are too expensive. Costly but worth it on a decent car.

Who would bother buying part worm tyres? No thanks. Buy cheap buy twice. Ditto remoulds forget them only buy new tyres and wear them out then replace.
