T350 seat mod

read through alot of the posts regarding fitting a harness to the sag/t350.
Obviously a harness bar is needed.

Having thought about this problem would it be possible to create the harness guide in the seats so they can accept the harness ?

I mailed the chaps who supply the spares for the recaro seats and they do several types of plastic belt guides available to purchase. He also supplied me with the dimensions.

Type 1 - has a curvature to the back profile of the harness guide. Overall width 255mm, height is 60mm and depth varies from 63mm to 80mm

seems like a possibility but I have yet to check out the sizes quoted in relation to the seat.

I also notice the guide has nice plastic rear inserts that clip too the front, this would be ideal to enable a clean finish on the fabric of the seat.

Other options I guess would be the aluminium guides that come in a seperate piece for each belt.

Any thoughts?

donaldosaurus did a lot of research on this along with D & C Trim. Never came to fruition as he replaced his car with one that had the Tuscan type seat. I eventually didn't go that route as neither Sag nor Tuscan seats offer much lateral support. Ended up buying a custom built Cobra seat in c/f that is just about perfect for me.
