Been experimenting with my new iPhone 4, which does 720p video capture. Really impressive results. Just need to sort out a decent mount for it now.

thats all well and good but dont you need a high shutter speed or something otherwise the video will come with a lot of ghosting?

Plus a youtube link would be sufficient, not promoting your website...

Yup, you'll have a lot of video 'wobble' (due to the rolling shutter) once that is mounted firmly. You can see it in that video but it's masked by the phone moving around so much.

Why should he promote youtube when he's got his own site?

Because PH is a business and advertising costs money, without which PH wouldn't exist in it's current capacity, disguising a thread that advertises commercial products is not on.

Saying this, check out this great website for amazing deals and interesting stuff! thumbupwww.track-days.co.uk

I suppose it's good considering it's a telephone (or is it?!), but if you want decent video quality you buy a video camera

The web site is mine but it's not a commercial site selling anything or making money. It's a personal interest site about my next house, home automation and some of the gadgets that are going to go in it.

Like some of my other sites in fact:
http://www.elises.co.uk & http://www.robcollingridge.com/FuryR1/

I'm not advertising anything, just pointing out that the iPhone 4 takes good video footage and when used in my Fisher Fury R1, looks pretty good. Will post some better footage tomorrow, when I've finished the mount. I could link directly to YouTube or Facebook video hosted files but, I kinda though some context would be useful too.
