Hello a few questions to the experts.. What is more fun to drive a manual or egear box on a gallardo?
Does the egear add value to the car on resale? Thanks
Well to be honest it's down to personal opinion. Firstly what age of Gallardos are you looking at? The pre 2006 cars had older software which wasn't as good. Does the egear add value to the car on resale? Thanks
As has already been said e-gear cars tend to be more sought after, but then saying that there are still people who want manuals and because there are fewer and fewer nowadays it shouldn’t be a problem to sell on later.
Personally I was the world’s biggest hater of these "stupid flappy paddles" things until I bought a F430 with F1 and I have say it is brilliant. Would I buy another? Yes absolutely. Have I been completely put off manuals? Absolutely not, still love them.
Drive them both and see which you prefer.

egear
with egear you're selling into a market several times larger than the manual one, qed slightly higher prices
Thanks , what's more fun to drive?with egear you're selling into a market several times larger than the manual one, qed slightly higher prices

things can happen quite quickly in a gallardo and egear allows rapid reliable multiple gearchanges exactly when you want them
it also results in quite a nice noise
try driving both...
I had a 2007 manual G coupe. Great car and good shift but the pedal offset on RHD cars is awful. Unless you've got dainty feet you may find yourself catching the brake when you dip the clutch etc.
Now in an e-gear 560 Spyder which is terrific. The throttle blip on the downshifts in Corsa mode makes manual obsolete all on it's own...
