PistonHeads Caterham Challenge - Book Today

Fancy learning to drift with PH? It's not too late to join us at Silverstone on Saturday 26th June

As you may know, the Autoglym PistonHeads Caterham Challenge (APCC to its friends) continues, and a few places are still available at the Silverstone session which takes place on Saturday 26th June.

For those who haven't heard about the APCC, the concept is devilishly simple. Take a whacking great bit of Tarmac, add a load of specially prepared Caterhams, a few PHers with a penchant for massacring tyres, and stand well back.

It's not all about going sideways, mind. We'll be keeping track of who manages the fastest times over the various courses and, at the end of the day, the three bravest/fastest/best drivers will be awarded some goodies and a free ticket to attend our super-special grand final.

This is going to be held at the end of the summer and whoever emerges victorious from this monumental clash of man and machine will be crowned the PistonHeads Champion (and get a whole host of goodies).

If you've never attempted any drifty-type stuff before, Caterham's team of instructors will be on hand to make sure that even if you don't leave with any spoils you will at least have had an amazing day and be a better driver.

To join us at the next Silverstone round, please click here to book

We'll be holding several 'qualifying' rounds over the summer, mainly spread between Brands Hatch and Silverstone. The next available dates are Brands Hatch on the 6th July and then we're back at Silverstone on the 16th July.

Complete this today at Silverstone... what an well run, fun packed day it turned out to be!

A BIG thanks to Suds, Darren, the lovely Sam (Drift Queen) and the support boys.

The group today were great fun and it turned into very close competition... I'm looking forward to the final, whether or not I get there I'll still be going along to watch!

It would be great if we could get one of the pistonheads crew down to take some pictures and give a write up of future events.

I'll will be booking a drift day with these guys... the most fun you can have in 1st gear!

Thanks again,
Mark

Mark - thanks for keeping the spirits so high all day and spurring all of us on to push ourselves.

It was soooo much fun. Never been told before to intentionally kick out the back end of a car. It took a bit to get my head wrapped around the idea of it, but the instructors really got us to the point where we were all comfortably sliding the back of those Caterhams all over.

Lots of seat time, and the opportunity to drive someone else's car at 100%. Couldn't have asked for a better way to spend a sunny Saturday.

Thanks - great drives from you as well. See you at the finals! Uhhh.. I generally avoid washing my "car" as a few rusty parts seem to come off each time.

WereWolf, I'm a northerner through and through... just that I live in London ;-)

Seriously if you can make one of these events, it is well worth it!
