I have never been here before. Its a huge glimpse of the future and makes Canada look distinctly third-world. The dynamism, organization, efficiency and prosperity are mindblowing. Thanks to Ph'rs for all of the advice on my prior thread.

The is a new building that has just opened, (marina point) which has what appears to be a ship on top of it. It is deliberate. Here is what it looks like from the outside and the inside...one of the most extraordinary buildings I have ever seen.
outside:

on the"ship" on the roof

and also on the roof is an infinity pool 60 floors up

I was there a year ago and they were still building the casino, the roof wasn't even up! I loved the place, always seems to be wanting to improve themselves.

Either F-5's, or F-16's. Look more like the darty shaped F-5 although the photo is a little distant. The bigger jet is probably a Gulfstream G550.

Once again, Thks to XJS John , Dom9 and the other folks from PH for the info. ALways amazing, the depth of knowledge around here. I am heading for Beijing in September in another business trip and will post some advice requests on that trip at some stage!

We walked passed that orange Aston, outside your place, the other day!! Small world to think you were there before we had even met!

The swimming pool on the 'boat' looks awesome!!!! We will be heading there ASAP!

That orange aston has been doing the rounds for a while now, have seen it on the highways and in downtown too!

What i scary is how much these cars cost here, aston is about $USD500k, the Masser about $USD350k, the Lambo $USD500k, the GTR $USD180k. Even that little bug and the moggy minor are probably worth $USD15 -0 20k

Glad to see you have been enjoying yourself! and some briliant pictures there too!

Some mates are trying to gather their brain cells so will drop you a line if there is a plan!

(Like herding cats!)

When Hong Kong based from 05-09 I was very often in Singapore. I absolutley love the place and will certainly looking for a move there in the coming years.

These photo's have reminded me how fantastic it is.

Glad you had a great time.

BTW, did you make it to Brix in the basement of the Grand Hyatt?
