Seeing as in a year or so I'm going to replace the Corsa (I know, but it's one of the few small cars I can fit in) I need something that is cheap and fun at the same time that I can fit my PC etc in (I got to LAN parties and an MX-5 is way too small) and I came across the Panda. It seems a good match (and cheap to buy/insure) but is it that PH? I want to try and buy a car that is more so than what I have now hehe

Has anyone got experience of one? It's rather appealing to myself!

Not sure about Panda 100HPs but LAN parties aren't exactly PH behaviour hehe

Ssshhhhh hehe

Not that I play games as much, mainly spend time in the bar, which is odd considering I don't drink... scratchchin

I drove a couple in my old job when they first came out out years ago. Really enjoyed it, felt nippy and fun and is reasonably practical in terms of size etc.

Evo liked it, definitely pistonheads enough in my book smile

Laptop?

Alternatively my TF will happily take a minitower PC; the Chimera took a 17" CRT monitor and full size tower PC.

Then again the Panda looks fun, just not quite as much.

I like the Panda, good little cars according to everything I've seen about them. Evo like it http://www.evo.co.uk/carreviews/evocarreviews/2056...

Would love to take my laptop but I much prefer my PC, harder for someone to try and run off with too! Insurance is also a lot on anything more than a toaster, might give USF1 a ring...

Also, can I really call it a party when there are 2000 of us?

hehe Thanks for XitUp!

Early last year you could buy a brand new one on Fiatsupersavers for £7300.
Bear that in mind if buying second hand.

You crazy fool! wink

ETA I love them! (Fiat 100 HPs, not Local Area Network 'Parties')

The Panda 100HP is definitely a PH car, also worth considering is the Suzuki Swift Sport, I know a couple of people who've driven them and they all said it was great.

The Panda's a hoot. Do it. Some cracking deals on it too.

Where a load of geeks get together and play computer games, some do it for 4-5 days without sleep! It's a social thing...honest.

Thanks for the info chaps (and chappettes?), I'll certainly look into one! Would be nice to go to Le Mans in something moderately fun...

Pablo, the Swift sport is a good bet as well smile Have driven the 1.5 lots of times and that's quite fun (about the same power/speed as a 100hp Panda) so I imagine the Sport is loads of fun smile

I'll bet £5 no women attend these 'parties' wink

On topic, the Panda is ace, go for it, but there is plenty of space in an MX-5 y'know, and you're more likely to attract the opposite sex in it.
He might have a girlfriend already? Maybe.

That's a no, there are actual gamer girls though! If anything they get more into it than the lads hehe
