It was the Tamora, I was following from the Farnham roundabout through Wrecclesham and it turned off just before Bordon.
Well it sounded fantastic, can't comment on how it went as it was just following traffic

Yeah, I was looking at something like that maybe using a rose joint. Bit of Heath-Robinson then?They should be greased regularly to prevent this happening but no one ever bothers.

I sent a photo to these guys but they say that their bracket is not suitable, so it looks like OnlyMX5ives option of welding on a washer. I just have to find someone local to do the welding; as it's near to the bearings in the shaft I guess it has to be done carefully!http://www.ddmworks.com/miata/engine/hdm_bracket.h...
