can anyone help identify a fault with a p38?
Discussion
I have a P38 range rover 4.6 with a recon top hat linered bottom end recon top end, also running on a prinz lpg conversion.
The problem i have is that cylinders 2 4 and 6 seem to be running cool compared to all the others,
I have had the injectors cleaned and tested and a new o2 sensor on the left bank, this happens on both fuels
I used a laser temp gauge and all the hot manifolds are of the scale, number 2 is 85 deg c
the other two are around 160 deg c,
any help would be great
Thanks in advance

Being a Marine Engineer, when I was at sea - load on an engine is mainly measured by exhaust gas temperature with a weekly check on 'firing pressures'.
During idling and less than 40% load exhaust temperatures would be 'all over the place' until the engine got a constant load on it.
With a Vee engine you always get a lazy bank ... and its only when the engine is underload that they start to balance out.
On some Vee engines fitted with bearing temperature probes it was easy to see a bank under no load during idle.
You may be experiencing the same ?
