355 Fluid Leak advice please
Discussion
Following 20 odd years of TVR ownership have just made transition to a Ferrari namely a 355F1and am consequently very green regarding ownership issues. Following a 30 ish mile drive yesterday in the high summer heat I returned to find a clear water leak from the front centre of the car between the two front wheels. It subsequently stopped after an hour or two. I assume this is related to the Air con which had been on due to the high ambient temperature. The amount of fluid lost was a pint or so and does not look like the coolant fluid. Is this typical or does it need checking out?
Out of interest what TVR's have you had and how does the 355 stack up against them?
I'm in the process of deciding what to do.
I've had 5 TVR's now and have loved every minute of owning them - mainly due to having no issues what so ever with them (using them for 6k per anum)
So does the 355 have the same wow factor? Is it as quick as a Tuscan/Tamora? I know ultimately that owning a 355 is way way above the Tiv's but is it the same spine tingling experience every time you fire it up???? I've driven a 360 spider and to be fair other than the looks it didn't really excite me any more than the Tivs from a driving point of view.
Very interesed to hear your view before I start going out testing!!
