I currently have a 2ft single brick built wall between us and neighbours. I want to replace it with something higher to give a bit more privacy.

Its about 60ft in length so I'm guessing a new, higher wall would be muchos expensive so anyone can anyone show me ideas for a 6ftish fence. Want something that looks modern and quality. Land is flat with good access.

Thanks

How about using these on the existing wall to support 4' panels?

Have a look on a fence suppliers website for different shapes and ideas. You can either start from scratch or build on top of the brick wall as suggested above. You can also finish the top with a trellis.

If you are just looking for a bit of privacy then waney panels or similar will do. if you want something thicker that will cut down some of the noise then go for close board panels.

Not sure I'd want to build on top of existing wall, its single brick and pretty shaky at best. I want to get rid but neighbour is keen to keep it for some reason.

Who's wall is it?

We just did our garden which is about 90ft using concrete gravel boards and posts with 5ft panels slotted in, should last for years with only the panels ever needing to be replaced hopefully.
It's 6ft high and perfect for a bit of privacy.
