My rack is pretty bad. Has a lot of play on the one side. When I got it there were no boots and it was gunked up with sand. There is a seller on ebay uk selling cortina racks for 95 pounds which is cheaper then the cost of getting mine rebuilt. Is it a direct fit or will I need to do some fab. work? It is a lhd us spec 85 (build june of 84) 280i

HAve you tried TVR Cacr Parts? Their std racks are about £45 plus a £20 surcharge (all + VAT) but may also do lhd racks if that's what you need?

Remember guys I'm across the pond so I'd rather pay for shipping once and be likely not to have to replace again. Haven't seen any Cortinas on our roads as of late. I'll send TVR parts an email and ask if they have a lhd one without a core need.
