Same over engineered over acted stunts, same drivel, a car show? in the loosest of terms - yes, as long as you are (as most of us are) either 17 or a fun lovin petrol head.

Could see the rr playin out a mile ahead but still had me laughing out loud, roll on next week, clarksons brilliant!

Watched as if it were a slapstick American teen comedy its still good.
In truth, it needs an overhaul like it got to become what it was in the early days of this format.

They should leave the comedy acting to others and remember what the show is about. Sack the script writers!

The worst episode to date... grumpy Only one proper review of the car (Bentley), but even that was delivered with loads of special effects and other rubbish. Just show us the bloody car properly!!! furious
Everything else was terrible and well revised... and had nothing to do with cars. I must admit that rolling the Reliant was funny but that was about it frown

I'm seriously considering not watching it next week.

Just show us some cars and stop being a clowns!!!

Want car reviews? Buy a decent car mag. TG is just three grown men earning lots of money cocking about. Wouldn't you? Loved the Reliant gags. Just like all good slapstick, you know it's coming......

I agree with you lot, it's getting to boring now and just rubbish.

Should go back to actually reviewing cars!

Then every now and again do an adventure, like across Africa and South America, but nothing stupid.

Read Evo magazine for the cars. Watch Top Gear for the entertainment.

I thought it was a great laugh, very well written and loved the Reliant sketch and Clarkstons fawning of our Olympic Gold medalist but as some others have said the car reviews are not what they used to be(Fifth gear does do that part better).

P.S. Any self-respecting Petrol-Head would also have pointed out to Clarkston that the Bentley Super Sports can be specced with rear seats wink

I dont watch top gear to gain a wealth of knowledge. I watch it to be entertained and I was. Especialy with reliant driving into the mot test pit. Very immature, childish but funny.

well i now want to go to iceland a go volcano watching - i thought what may did was pretty awesome. seen some outakes which really show how close he was to all the moving & showering of super heated rocks.

the robin sketch was predictable but like all fart jokes it was still funny

Exactly yes

TG's just about entertainment. I missed it on Sunday but caught it last night, the Reliant stuff was sooo obvious but that didn't stop my from laughing at it. All just fun with a car flavour.

Did anyone catch the car that Clarkson roared away from the test track in, looked like a CLK black series perhaps, sounded lovely!

Looked like a CLK Black. I watched it on sky+ so did rewind it a couple of times to hear the noise and check....

A guy at my work who has soft spot for me, uses it for a conversation starter every Monday without fail, even the dave repeats. Funnily enough I've not got round to watching it this time! I'm not a looker but still way out of his reach! Just to make sure you don't think i'm being mean, this boy sneezed into his hand and after licked his hand! frown
