The re-scheduled Edin-dinner thread...

After an emergency on my part, the proposed dinner last Saturday didn't happen.

However, the general consensus was this Friday 2nd of July.

Some suggestions of a venue would be good too as i fancy a change from Tapas and Curry.

On a side note it would be good to see Ian again as i've not seen him for ages...

Here is the menu and website for the Mongolian place. It sound interesting as you get to create your own dishes and are allowed to go up more than once.

I dont know of any good Italians in Edinburgh. Where would you suggest?

It's well worth trying, honest. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool "curry or italian or I'm not interested" and I loved it.

Worst case scenario, you just load up on chicken, riced and sweet&sour sauce

I'm not going but my Mrs goes to Khubla in Glasgow with her mates and its basically a glorified bbq. Wild boar = pork, goat = lamb etc, think you would like it. Just a thought...

Dont think so, might be too short notice for a sitter, anyway, she aint on PH (probably going to get a punch for that), but if we can get a sitter is it ok if she pops along too?
