I've seen a 964 that I quite like the look off and was wondering if theres anyone local (Glasgow Area) that could do an independent inspection?

Great thanks for the replies guys.

How does this normally work as i've never done this before. I'm thinking I go and view the car tomorrow and if it looks on the face of it a good car then I go ahead with the inspection? I would imagine I'd need to leave a deposit with the seller to secure the car subject to the inspection?

Its a private sale.

As to who I'll use I'll prob give both guys a call tomorrow and see how they're placed.

Just for info,

Took my Porsche to Stuart at SP Autobhan last week and did a great job.

Very helpful and reasonably priced as well :-)
