I will shortly be in the market for a 360.

My initial thoughts (based on running costs) were a manual BUT after talking to a few owners, it would appear that the F1 suits the car better so I would also consider an F1 car IF its had a very recent clutch.

Ideally I was after a spider but after wouldn't rule out a modena if the condition / service history etc all stack up.

If anyone knows of any for sale that are decent cars and worth a look, I'd very much welcome any links to known good cars.

Many thanks in advance,
Lee.

I bought mine from Tim Walker and it has been superb! Give him a call - he's usually got cars in the pipeline and is very friendly. www.walkersport.co.uk

The F1 box really does make the car. Don't be put off by horror stories of clutch wear - mine has 11% wear after one year and 7,000 miles and I live in central london. replacing the clutch isn't too costly so long as the ring gear has been updated to the six bolt version.

I remember a quote in the Evo mag from someone who shall remain nameless something along the lines of 360's being boring in comparison to my Sag redcard
Your car looked very nice at scs yesterday by the waycool

Yep - I remember being quite pissed off when I read the article as the writer completly twisted everything I said out of all context. What I actually said was that it would be difficult to replace the Sag and that the 360 was the closest I'd found and I was amazed how refined it was by comparison!!!

Anyway, thanks for the comments on the Sag. If you hear of any 360s coming up for sale, please give me a shout.
Cheers,
Lee.

I think you should also test drive a manual for a comparison.

Test driving doesn't give you an insight into these cars really in my opinion. I know there's no other option but it takes a while to get used to the power band and also the clutch on the manual and the timing on the F1 system. I didn't like the F1 box at first and that's why I decided on the manual however I'm sure I'd have got used to it in time and enjoyed the car just as much!.
So I'd say look at both, you will have to compromise on something. In my experience there are quite a few cars out there but lots have issues.
Happy hunting!.

Have you had a look at Rardley's? They've certainly got one spider and I believe another one is coming their way.

They are selling my 348 GTC currently & would definitely recommend them as they're one of the good guys!

A good spider in mid to low 40s could be tough unless you wait for winter?
