High mileage

Hi all,

I'm looking at getting a 3-4 year old 325d or 330d touring with a max budget of 15K. I've seen a few around for a lot less than 15k, but they do have high mileage 90k+. Is high mileage a gamble on these cars, I assume most would by motorway miles? Also they seem to be for sale from these car supermarket type places, and I've heard mixed reviews of them.

I'd appreciate views from others if anyone else has taken the plunge.

I bought my then 3 year old 530d Touring ex Police car at 150K miles in mid 2006. I now have 202K miles and its been fine. These cars wear high miles very well indeed! so long there's a good comprehensive service history you'll be fine which is pretty much like any car that's well maintained as it covers it's mileage
