auto sticking clutch e92 325d

hello,

i have the above with 60k miles on it. it needs a service but additionally i think the clutch is sticking, e.g. i press the accelerator from standstill, not much happens and then it lurches forward. is this a common problem and does anyone know what it is? as i would like to educate my dealer into actually looking to solve the problem rather than doing a diagnostic and finding nothing wrong.
