How few entries does it require for a category to lose it's FIA status?

With only 2 TMFC entered for Alastaro, it must be a bit worrying. Apparently the Bennett's are joining in next season and the Turner car is up and running, but with Leif and Ulf taking a year out, the Troa car apparently 'parked' and danny having serious engine damage it does not look promising.

Yes, but I'm sure it will return to full strength soon enough. I remember TMD dropping down the three cars not so long ago (Wilson, Schöfer, Turner) and being concerned about how long it could continue as a viable class. But just look at how strong it is now.

AFAIK, both Leanders and Andréasson plan to return, and with others in the class either coming out with new cars or returning after a break, I can't see the class struggling in 2011. Finances may mean that some (Steph, maybe the Bennetts and others?) will not do the full tour, but I still think that there are going to be enough at each meeting to keep the class alive.

It will be fine, there are loads of cars out there still, as with many £££ is tight.

We plan to do as many rounds as we can, but more than likely first year will be Thunderball, Main event, Summer Nats, Euros, National Finals.

Cant wait.

Yeah, I guessed that would be the case. Are you sticking with the same chassis, or is that going to be new too? Anyway, I hope it all goes well for you. Looking forward to seeing it out on track. Hopefully it'll look as good as the altered did in its final guise.

Yeah same chassis, its a proper funny car chassis, built by Steve Plueger. Very nice piece. We need to add a helmet stroud but as far as tagging goes its sweet as.

Obviously if a big sponsor comes along then we will buy a complete car in from the USA.

Thanks for comments, the altered does look bloody good even if I do say so myself! Put a huge amount of time in the old girl.
