Hi PH'S

I'm after some guidance here if you can help, Im currently after a Fiat grande punto. First off, im stuck as too which engiine to get? the 1.2 8v sounds sh*t and so does the 1.4 16v but does anyone own or know about the 1.4 16v t-jet? or the 1.9 multijet diesel version? I've never owned a diesel model before and if i was to get the desiel model would a re-map help?

Other cars in view are the twingo rs, fiesta st or the punto abarth. the reason im edging towards the punto is simply insurance wise. any help on any of them cars would be great! im 23 with 3 yrs no claims and i roughly do 12-14,000 miles a year.

Thanks, James

Out of them Punto Abarth.

Diesel Turbos can be good. I loved my Skoda Fabia VRS, and with a remap they have about 185BHP. I choose that over a new Fiesta ST and Mitsubishi CZT I was viewing at the time.(2005) In a straight line my Remapped fabia was as quick in a straight line as a Type r civic and faster than a Standard Mini Cooper S my friends had. You just have to put up with Skoda jokes, cheap interior, and silly grey seats. (I had a leather interior fitted in York)

I dont know much about the Punto Diesel but it will certainly shift with a tweek.
