Local yobs have smashed the windows on two BMWs in the avenue overnight. One is an e46 compact with the words "England 1 Germany 0" sprayed onto the roof and an e39 with "England 2 Germany 0" on the roof.

Moronic chav scum. I'm thinking of putting my car in a local secure car park overnight foe the next week or so. Will cost a small fortune and be a PITA but better than finding my car in that state.

My e30 got it's window smashed and bonnet jumped on after England went out of euro 96.

Gotta love football.
Tragic state of affairs. Iirc, similar situation occurred after the BMW/Rover affair. Are people such fking retarded s? The answer is demonstrably yes.

For once, my car is safer up here in Glasgow. Never thought I’d see the day.

Does seem rather moronic behaviour to be honest. At the end of the day it was only a game.

I love being English but these type of people embarrass the rest of us, and give the English a bad name! Tossers!

One of the reasons that I moved to Germany at the weekend. I watched the game (I was the only Englishman there) and received nothing apart from friendly banter. I was told by my family to hide the car away in case of an England win but things are just not like that here. I am looking forward to not seeing England again for a long time.

Thankfully Italy were knocked out too early to meet England hehe

Still, do these morons not realise that the owners of the damaged cars are probably English?

So that's two perfectly nice cars that were more likely than not someone's pride and joy probably written off by way of a few knuckledraggers for whom twenty-two overpaid 'professionals' kicikng a ball back and forth on a field equals tribal war. And then people wonder why some folks do not like football... don't think I've ever seen a motorsport venue that needs two different entrances and hordes of police (paid out of the public purse of course) to keep Alonso and Hamilton fans away from each other. Think of it, I can't think of any sport that incites such behaviour in 'supporters'.

And we wonder why the British (per se) are not that welcome pretty much anywhere they go. No sense, no morals, no brains.

They're actually paid for by the clubs, don't let facts get in the way of a rant though. I do however agree that this is shocking behaviour, some people are just fucensoredng retarded!

Saw a yob attempt to attack a BMW last night as it drove past. He was too smashed so his kick missed (bit like the game) and the car ran over his flag! There were two more BMWs behind too, like a queue of torture for the poor mouth-breather.

Stupid, mindless vandalism.

Somewhat ironically, a lot of the In-ger-lund flags I saw fluttering about during the yawn-fest tournament were being flown from BMWs, Audis etc.

But then there is a possibility that the anger 'the people' might have towards the English team are also unleashed on English cars... just a thought....
