I rec'd an e-mail from someone asking about SE values. Unfortunately my e-mail has lost it ?? Its just disappeared from my PC

Is this common with Windows ME?

Anyhoo I reckon an 89SE in Good condition is worth £12500-£15000 depending on milage and history.

My interior is mint and only done 34k but it still needs the manifold and water pump doing

After that, I'd price it at £14500.

Hi Scott,
I'm looking for an SE at the moment, although my budget is not near your price, sorry.
There are a few SE's with 30-50k miles on Autotrader and Exchange and mart now,and they are around your 14k proposed asking price,however...
There are quite a few SE's at around this figure,i have been eyeing them up since last august when i decided to sell my S3.
Thing is,a lot of the "i'd ring up after that if i had enough now" cars are still up for sale, while in the same time i have seen 9-11k SE's snapped up within the first week of sale...

As i have not SEEN the cars i do not know how much of a bargain the cheaper ones were, nor how good the dear.
In a couple of months i'll be able to chase the 10-11k ones,so i'll find out then.

I will be using donnington to see whats around (for sale or not) and to gauge general (as far as possible) condition of all the SE's i see.

I think that most of the people selling in this market are not 'Desperate' to sell. At the end of the day if you want one, then you either pay for it or try and find someone else who needs to sell theirs quicker.

If I was going to sell my SE and couldn't get the price I wanted for it then I would probably just keep it
