Gentlemen

I purchased a 3000M last week so have joined the classic TVR clan (I'm assuming that's the case?). http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1813763.htm

I've come from building and driving kits (last was a Turbo charged Fury) to what seems like a classic kit. I'm amazed at just what a fantastic car it is to drive. I picked it up on Saturday and have driven 150+ miles now and have loved every minute!

I have a few questions which I hoped the TVR guru's on here may be able to answer;

How can I cool the car. I've opened the windows, pulled the lever out under the column and opened the sun roof but its still got a huge amount of engine heat, any tips on reducing this?

The front tyres running on the 'T' style alloys have smaller profile tyres than the front and width, is this correct? What tyres suit this car best, 195/70/14?

When do you lot meet, I would love to come and have a browse at others cars? I'm based in mid Bedfordshire.

Thanks

Harvey

Welcome to the world of TVR , unfortunatly You missed the biggest get together of these cars two weekends ago at Newark. It was a great chance to see all the different variations , every car has something different on them.
Loads of very helpful and friendly people on here who help us newbies with our silly questions.
My Brother and I are restoring a couple of Taimars and live close to bedford so if You want to come and see what we are up to , you will be most welcome.

Cheers
Geoff.
