Just thinking from an engine modification POV. Would be excuse enough to drop a Mk2 engine in I assume.

I also thought it seemed a bit expensive, but not really into mx5s,so cant really comment on value.

£900! I know where you can get one with an engine for less than that. One that'd make a great project. If you like welding, that is.

hehe

ETA: I think they started off as "D & E cars", then either the D or the E left. Was solely an MX5/Eunos specialist, but I think they do a few JDM vehicles of that sort of age now - Integras and the like.

Mate, if you want an MX5 project, you can buy my V-Spec for £500ono. Has 6 months MOT, no tax, and just needs a few things doing to it and you've a cracker.

It's a VMAX star too.

ETA: £900 with no engine, fack orf.

Just curious, but what do you mean by this? You posted it yesterday for a different car too.

Put simply. I have st, generally slow, cars compared to most VMAXers (when I attend).

However, I try to have lots of fun, and have been on occasion quietly awarded the 'Spirit of Vmax' award, generally for being sideways everywhere. I make the most of what little I have.

You'd laugh at an 1.6i MX5 being at a VMax event, but it consistantly hit it's VMax, and was the car that was overtaken at 220mph before the 9ff, er, had a slight incident.

ETA a thumbsup as I'm sure you're genuinely curious smile

Liking your thinking 300. But it wouldn't be a straight drop and my pockets aren't very deep. smile

Not purchasing, was 'window shopping' in the classifieds and thought it may be good. I'm not at all familiar with prices so was intrigued.

P.S. Stop reeling me in with temptations. The Mrs will kill me. wink
