The T.25 is universally slated on here as being utterly useless

So i am interested in what you would want in your ideal city runabout

I'll have a go. Gordon's a moron?

If it's raining, I wouldn't fancy getting in or out of that.

Someone will buy one. City car? Just get the bus.

So you want an uncomfortable, uneconomical huge car that won't fit into multi story carparks thats completely unsuited to tarmac as your city car

Well done

No, I want a car that is capable ot pissing off the greenies, negotiating the pothole infested roads, the massive speed bumps which make that jump in the picture look small.

Have you actually seen a Wildcat in the carbon/metal/etc? I wouldn't call them huge in any respect. A current Range Rover is a whole lot bigger.

Happy now?

Gordon Murrays next design - the £12k 600kg rear drive sports car.

As long as it's got a manual box.

Its already been done, and Murray was apparently a fan of the design.

Looks a lot better than the T25, more space, much better packaging. All that it needs is a more modern engine.

I think a 5dr aygo with slightly wider tyres and slightly more sound proofing would be fine.

i don;t understand the iQ but i think the aygo is a great car.

so i suppose for me the answer would be 'a hybrid aygo'. ar an aygo with stoppystartyness (they may now have that anyway..!).

Given that, no matter what you drive, the cities are so congested that you can't move at more than walking pace anyway the best way through a city, in a car ('cos we're no up for public transport, push bikes or motor bikes are we?) is with a police escort & being important/dangerous enough to have all the roads cleared for you in advance. Sady this will mean that you have to be inside a dull, uncomfortable bullet/bomb-proof vehicle on the grounds of being important/dangerous enough for somebody to want to kill you.

Mind you, you'd probably get a fairly large dose of adrenalin knowing that people wanted you dead. Possibly even as much as you'd get on a track day.

And maybe some crash protection? (Which will knacker the space/packaging...)

Is that actually positive camber on the rear wheel?! hehe

For most people the concept doesn't make sense. If you do a mixture of driving you'd be better off with a single car that can handle a variety of conditions.

Aygo or Fiat 500 or something else similar. Don't really know why you would need a car to be any smaller than that.
