OK. This type of thread has been run before, but it was pre- the Pie & Piston's gender realignment so I can't find it. And nor can Google. But we have had so many new members since it last ran - and a fair few lost too - it's probably worth starting a new one.

Lots of PHers get along to various social events - whether car-based or simply to socialise - but many more keep well behind the safety of their screen. And, of course, many never get to meet simply due to their physical geography.

So whether you're a regular attendee at meets or never step outside your front door, there are probably some PHers who (you think) you'd like to meet. Maybe because they have a particular car, a certain sense of humour or maybe because you'd simply like to punch them.

Name and shame: which PHer(s) would you like to meet?

(In time honoured tradition) I'll start:

Tonker
Soovy
DrTre

Why? Sense of humour alignment. Must be great chaps to share a few beers with.

Most of the PH'ers on the BB forum. Bassgt (In South-Africa) springs to mind. Nothing to do with combining that with a holiday...nope, no-siree.

Also, the guy who's always maiming himself..Emsman I think. That would be an entertaining evening listening to some of those stories.

Noone.

I'd be worried I'd discover that people I thought sounded like top chaps, were actually wkers in real life. Ignorance is bliss.

Soovy and I have exchanged many mails/conversations, and yet I've still to meet the bugger even though I owe him LOTS of beers (we keep saying we will but never do!). I agree on Derek Smith too - seems like a top chap, and I would have a lot of time for him.

Also, another long standing PHer that I imagine would be a top bloke; Don.

Thought Soovy had been to at least one DD's?

I used to have a jar or two with tonker, kermit and more beanz at the hole in the wall (its a pub at waterloo) on more than one occasion, but sadly that finished a while ago...
