I'm not normally one to waste my time worrying about such things, but I can't help wondering why the Police (especially around Surrey/London) have so many higher end marked up cars - plenty of BMW 5 series, a few 3s, a few Range Rovers etc)

Whatever discount they're getting buying aand servicing these things, there are plenty of cars that are far cheaper to run and just as quick to chase the baddies. The Met especially have a large fleet of red 5 series. Anyone know why this is?

So you want them tooling about chasing the baddies in a 1.6 Kia?

How the hell are they going to keep up with anything?

And you've obviously forgotten about the mileage they rack up - they need well screwed together cars. Never mind a set of good seats to sit in.
