Ive heard that 2 people on here be planning a 1600 mile trip to germany in one day. That has to be some kind of record.

That has to be some kind of masochist.

I would like to take mine to Cornwall in the summer, but think I would be lucky if it got past Reading

It's not that bad! 1600 miles in a day is pretty brave though. Did I say brave? I meant reckless!

Drove 1200 miles in a cavalier 2.0 sri 16v in a day that was with two kids the wife and two weeks worth of luggage and quilts etc, I would much rather do 1600 miles in my TVR in a day

16 hours for 1600 miles, they said its too easy. 12 or 13 is more like it. They gonna be in germany for part of it too so the autobahns will make up some time.

Done Bordeaux to Leeds in the cerb last summer.

Used to do Glasgow to Pisa in a day in my previous car but haven't tried it in the cerb yet. Soon possibly, got to build up my bank balance for all the petrol tokens first though.

London to Mull in a day is a reasonable journey of 560 miles or so.
