Eric Bana's attempt at the 2006 Targa rally - apparently very good !

Watched it at the weekend on DVD, great film (documentry). Eric Bana very humble about his car and its aftermath, liked the way he'd rather be racing than on a red carpet.

Admittedly it's all a bit familiar - having done a film many years ago and then spending everything i got paid on a car that's then cost me 3 times what I've paid for it and is currently under going a gearbox rebuild

Must admit watched it expecting to have to put up with some self indulgent crap in order to enjoy a little car porn, but really enjoyed it.

Couldn't get enough of that epic scenery, makes we want to do the Targa even more. Was hitherto unaware of Speed Merchants (even though I've seen they bit they used on Youtube) - just ordered from Amazon...

I'm glad this film is getting some decent internation exposure. One of the best motoring films in some time!

Ordered. Been meaning to for ages.

I saw Bana compete in the Targa West (Western Australia) quite a few years ago. Just a regular bloke (albeit a big fella) swanning around in jeans and t-shirt. He was running a Porsche 928 at the time.
