accident on M25 last night

Looks like a truck ran into the back of a black Civic......fair enough but why does it require every cop in the southern hemisphere to attend? I could barely see the 4 fire appliances for various cop vehicles, and none of em were HATO

I saw that last night and was curious as to whether the recovery truck, which was on it's way to another accident further on, swerved off the hard shoulder on to lane 1 or whether the Civic was half on the hard shoulder? I couldn't believe that there were three accidents in about 2 miles. The Civic was not in a good shape, I hope all involved are okay.

That might answer your question. If anyone injured was in danger of becoming dead as a result then there has to be full accident investigation at the scene.

Oh I understand the fact that a fatality = possible murder, it still doesn't explain the need for so many attendees, I've seen Miami Vice, you only need one guy with sunglasses and a hottie with rubber gloves and a vanity case

Sorry about the multiple posting, blackberry's gone bezerk. I do hope there wasn't anyone in the back. they'd be very lucky to survive. The lorry recovery truck was disturbingly embedded into it.
