Doors full of water!

I just can't seem to get of all rid of the water in my doors. Before driving I shake them (5 mins) and 'some' of the water dribbles out of the hole at the bottom of the door, but it still feels like am driving with two bucket loads sloshing next to me.

Has anybody got any solutions for this, apart from the use of a cover??!!

Drill a drain hole at the lowest part of the door, making sure that it opens the right side of the seal when the door is shut?

The drain holes should do the job and so I'd set to work making sure they're clear, otherwise I've heard of several people drilling new ones as suggested.

Watch out if you are using a mains electric drill to do this...... I had an unfortunate experience when drilling drainage holes in a previous car....

I understand where you are coming from... but I believe that the experences that you are refering to had nothing to do with cars!...

Me thinks that you got your memorys confused when it comes to cars.. perhaps you were mixing me up with Mr Bubba B, car snooker on the M40 and all that!

Ah yes

The only man who can NOT miss an upturned car on the M40 when there is NOTHING in sight!

One slightly banged up Bubba, one even more banged up Scoob and a dead primera.

The only person I know that actually has bumped EVERY care he has had!
