Urgent Help - Megasquirt Advice

Guys. ,

Mark at onlymx5ives is working on my car and has come up against a snag.

The car is up and running and idles ok but when revved cuts out.

He has put the megasquirt on to his car and it runs fine.

Now the only differences are that my car is a JDM Eunos and his is a UK spec car.

What difference is there that would cause this issue.

Is there an immobiliser still in there somewhere?
Is the fuel pump being triggered?

That's all I can suggest - I don't know anything about MS...

Hi mate, there isn't an immobliser on my car.

As for the fuel pump been triggered I will ask him.

Its kind of a 3way conversation that's going to happen with suggestions.

Yes, Mark beat me to posting on nutz.

I know there are a lot of folks that are into their FI cars on there.

Its got to be something simple and just a minor difference between the 2 cars standard set up's.

sounds like some sort of sensor on your car is not feeding teh correct info back to the MS - does yours still work as it should on the stock ECU?
