Enough negativity! - facelifts that improved the design

We had a thread on here whinging about uglified cars last week. What about cars that were improved by a facelift?

I'm biased, but the ph2 GTV V6 looks much prettier than the ph1....

There are loads. E39 5 series, Audi A4 on several occasions, the A3 8L. Impreza bug eye to blob eye would be a noteable one.

Sorry OP, I can't agree with any of your three examples. In each case I prefer the purity of the original.

Might be a controversial one here, but the GT6 mk1 to mk2





I much prefer the less toothy small grille of the mk2

ohh and in fact even on to the mk3

Not sure if it was a facelift or a new model, but the phase-2 Clio V6 is much better looking than the phase-1.
