They don't need a Le Mans pedigree but they are meant to be for classics and only sold through classic car clubs.

I can't see the 'Vette having any issues but the Chim...depends on their mood on the day/how well you can explain to a Frenchman that your MG/Triumph/Morgan/etc broke down and this is your only other car...

You'll be fine Gareth. There are already 40-50 TVRs of all ages booked into one of the sessions so no worries about the Chimeara. One of the TVRs in that group who booked through me blew his engine a couple of weeks ago and wanted to know if he could use his MX5 instead or if needed to find a new home for his pass. I checked with the organisers and they said it would be ok to take the MX5.

The Vette will not be a problem either.

MX5?
It's either that or push the Cerb round and I'm definitely not fit enough for that.

Also I can make some money towards the rebuild by doing a few trims along the way.

It's really bad luck for the Cerb to pack up, but, on the bright side, at least it didn't happen on the journey down before it got there. An MX5 may not be ideal for the circuit but it does mean you can go 'round and floor it down the Mulsanne straight.
