The flexible fuel hose around the fuel filter had split, so I replaced both sides and all's been well for a few months.

Now it's started leaking a little, but only when first pressurised (after starting up when it's been off for a while).

I used jubilee clips and put a bit of loctite on .. should I have used something different? I think they are coming loose.

Can I replace the clips without taking the hose off, as obviously fuel goes EVERYWHERE if not hehe

You should not need loctite on a jubilee clip and now you will be unable to tighten it. It leaks because the fuel pressure is highest when the car is cold. If you use the correct size hose clips then these should be fine.

Be aware there are dodgey (sp?!) fuel hose manufacturers out there - perhaps from China. I bought some from an established ebay vendor that was BS marked and all that but it started to leak within a month or two. Upon checking it had cracked quite badly and upon removal I discovered it had hardened to the point of having the flexibility of a kit kat. So I redid the job with hose from a local motor factor and all's well a year later. The ebay vendor didn't want to know.
