It's the topic we all want to know about - which stands, companies and manufacturers have the best freebies? Today's haul includes:

Audi - A1 branded shoulder bag (full of brochures which I chucked away). A book about the R8 at Le Mans.
Top Gear Magazine - latest issue for £1.
Peugeot - Free pen. Some water.
Audi - Free beer if you take Audi keys.
Alfa - Ditto. (Alfa keys).
Dunlop - Yellow baseball cap.
Toyo - 10% off voucher.
Haymarket - Free TengTools mini socket set, Auto Glym set, Sennheiser headphones or model car if you sign up for a subscription. Also latest issue of each magazine free. Had to pay for my yellow smiley though!

What else did everyone else get? What should we look out for tomorrow? Particularly keen on free hospitality, given my £7 burger was no better than one I could have got from a layby on the way home. Beer is refreshingly cheap, however, and the Goodwood ale is lovely.

£3.50 a pint for the ale. About the same as you'd pay in a local pub around here.

I take back everything I said about Peugeot. Now the big bosses are here they've sorted me out with sponsor passes, I was stood on the Goodwood House balcony next to Felicity Kendal. In ten minutes Chris Meeke will be taking me around the rally stage in his 207 IRC car!

Audi hardback book - i didnt manage to get a copy on Thursday mainly due to the greedy bar-stewards who were grabbing handfuls of them.

One bloke walked away with two boxes of the books - each box contained 10 copies - so quite why he wanted 20 is beyond me although i havent checked Ebay yet.....

I asked him if i could have one of the books as i didnt uderstand why he had so many.

His response? Simply f*ck off.

Pr*ck.

Does anyone have a copy of the book that they dont want?

Thank you.

The book is from way back in 1999 with the early history of the r8 and the 1999 lemans story of the car. (must have be some real old stock audi had hanging about)
Its not that 'great' more pictures than info ,but a nice freebie all the same...cannot see people getting much for them on ebay though!?..
