How long does it take to get a passport renewed? Roughly?
Sent forms off today but need to be in Dubai in 4 weeks.... Pushing it?

my last one took 7 days,i used the post office check/send scheme , i was surprised it was so quick.

Sent mine off on the monday and recieved it through the post on wednesday! was really suprised.

Yup, a week - 10 days at most. No need for check and send, it's not exactly rocket surgery, fill in form, put in envelope with correct monies/photos and post.

i used this as now i have a shaved head and previous photo was with full head of hair, i didn,t want them to reject it......funny thing was , my only mistake was not signing it biglaugh,which was worth the fee.

There was a woman going through the check and send process when I was in the PO the other day - the good ladies behind the counter both agreed that the photos she had would likely be rejected. Sad muppet then went off on a right rant and demanded her fee back, vowing to go to a 'proper' post office and never return!

We had a chuckle about it after she'd stormed off with her unsuitable photos smile
