Off tomorrow, really looking forward to it (except the weather forecast, which depends on which site you look at) - should I wear shorts or not? Hope that Sir Stirling's there, I just want to wish him the beat in his recovery - absolutely top bloke!

Sir Stirling may be parked in the disabled bay redcard but I too hope to see him. I wore Jeans and a polo top today but really felt the heat - shorts and t-shirt for me tomorrow, along with suntan oil and gallons of water

I will be leaving in 20-28 minutes, seeing how I have a two hour walk to Southampton Central. But on the whole, I am looking forward to the event today and tomorrow.

The commentators were saying yesterday that he plans to go up the hill in at least one car over the weekend.

I find it a little bit annoying, that the One-77 was at the event on Saturday. Which was meant to be my day 2 visit, and yet I am stuck at home for one very good reason:

Sunburn frown

However I hope Aston Martin bring a One-77 to the evnet for three days next year, which is when I will start to use a wide brim hat. And sun cream, even if it warm and cloudy.

Yes it is, it will be doing the afternoon Supercar Run smile

It's an engineering car, so not on display.

Hi there,

I only stayed for the morning Supercar run and there was no Aston One-77.
Was heading back to the car park about 1.30pm when I heard the commentator say over the radio that the next car up the hill would be the Aston One-77. I was gutted to have missed it, but thought oh well at least I saw it at Silverstone. I got into the taxi I had ordered outside gate 3 and headed back towards Chichester, we got to the first roundabout by the Rolls Royce factory and I could not believe it when the One 77 came round the roundabout in front of us. It's not the White one from Silverstone, this one was gloss black ( not a development car before anyone says ) and had the reg plate KX10GLF. We followed it to the A27 where it turned off left.
If it does run tomorrow please get some pics as I can't make it.
Regards

Tim

Were you not interested in the 100 plus other cars that were there?

Eric,

Oh god yes, the Supercar Run was superb. Having seen them on Friday close up in the paddock, the afternoon run, and the Saturday morning run I had got more than enough pictures I was happy with. As a huge Aston Martin fan, the One 77 would have been the highlight for me.

Regards

Tim

Yes it is a development one, it's an engineering car, as per my pics above, I was stood right next to it smile

It has the engineering sticker on the windscreen.

Does anyone know, when I can buy a program online. Unless someone would be willing to sell me one via email.
