Do your windows work without ignition on ?

Mine do, but I'm sure they didn't used to, or did i just assume they didn't and always put the ignition on ?

Maybe its linked to the horn not working (see other post) - no blown fuses, horn button working but no 12v to horns when button pressed - hmmn

what do other people windows do ?
