My local news just announced that Discovery won't go until Nov 1st at the earliest. Hopefully nobody booked a September holiday to coincide.
This means Endeavour won't go until the new year. NASA are still lobbying the gov't for money to send Atlantis up again next February too. So maybe a lot more opportunities for visitors to witness a launch than we thought.

I booked my holiday to see it. Was due to fly in 2 days before launch and stay for 2 weeks. So won't catch the new date.

I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully you were not basing your entire visit around this launch.
I'm sure you'll still have a great time, the wet season will have calmed down a lot by then.

I have been florida about 5 times (last time about 4 years ago always in september) , never seen a lauch so thought it would be something good to see.

I have always enjoyed myself as a single traveller, there is plenty to do, out in the morning to a park back in evening, which is why a cheap hotel on international drive will do as it is only a bed for the night.

always a risk booking around a launch which is why I thought get in a couple days before to give me the biggest window for any delays.

I will still enjoy it.
