Paypal - accepting a payment

OK might be being rather thick here... sold a DVD via ebay & now if I login to paypal, getting past the 'you've received a payment!' message, what on earth do I do? Cant see my beloved £6.24 anywhere...

Click on the tab 'My Account'. It should show a list of transactions on your account.

hmm.. that's exactly the problem: it shows '0.00' ! Have mailed paypal twice & their response hasnt been useful at all. For the sake of £6.24 not sure can be bothered.. its just bit messy seeing a 'pending' in my ebay profile all the time

I've only used it once before but don't you have to manually accept the payment by clicking on the appropriate 'accept payment' button.

I've never had a problem paying with paypal and use it a lot. The problem I have is logging on to the secure pages with this pc. I have to use an old pc! I don't know if it's a browser thing or security thing? I've found paypal to be essential for foreign purchases.

I've paid a few times with it A OK.. this is the 1st time I've accepted it. Trouble is that simply no sign of the funds. But.. just got a response from them which reads 'Your 6.24 GBP will be returned in 6 days!' ho hum what a giggle

Have you set up a basic or super-duper (whatever they call it) account ? Might need the latter and credit card details to get it to accept cash. If so, it's free and painless.

My Paypal account is based around a credit card.. if the issue isnt resolved soon I will let it pass (only for £6) but never use this service again!
