Can someone help me with editing a photo

I have a photo that I need some of the background taken out. I have Adobe Photoshop Element but have no idea how to use it. Could someone either tell me what tools to use to get rid of the boy to the right and blend it with trees and to also get rid of the feet and shadow on the sand. Or, if some ever so kind and lovely person wouldn't mind fixing this for me, I could email the photo to you. Thanks

Would it look better if the beach and horizon are horizontal with the girls face and copied over to the right of her too?
