Charter flight wanted

I remember a few years ago seeing a company based at Manston Airport offering charters to Le Touquet for a reasonable amount, let's say around the £2k mark for a 14 seater if I remember correctly.

I started to look earlier this week for a charter to take a group of 18 people from either Biggin Hill or Manston to Deauville in June next year (out on Saturday, back on Sunday and have been quoted between £9-11k. I have no experience of chartering aircraft so have no idea how much it should cost, does anyone have any experience or contacts to beat this at all?
