Drive Shaft Universal Joint 390 SE

Hi All,

Would appreciate if anyone can confirm the origin of the Universal Joints on the Drive shaft closest to the hub.

As the Diff is Jag i would assume that the UJ's are too but you never know.

Confirmation would be greatly appreciated as i need to try and source one in the morning.

Bit late I know, but instead of fannying around wih motor factors and their parts-book rummaging, find a bearings/ transmission supplier and tell them the diameter of the needle cups and the measuremant across the joint, ie from the back of one cup to the back of that opposite it. You're more likely to get the right size and will probably pay less too - and the quality may well be better as a lot of the automotive aftermarket is now sourced from China.

Hi Ian'
Thank's for getting back to me i found a local supplier and managed to change them out over the weekend,couldn't believe how badly worn the offside one nearest the hub was it was totally shot.

I only really discovered the issue when i jacked the car right up at the front end and the rear off side wheel appeared to splay outwards at 30 degrees.

Glad i found it though it drives so much better every week.
