Just been to the chippy, I entered the roundabout to come home, clear to my right so I enter. Just as I did so a young (early 20's) lad enter roundabout too hot and has to break hard to avoid an exchange of paint. He see's his mistake, puts an "I'm sorry, my fault" hand up. I wave back to acknowledge and we all get home in a stress free and un damaged manner
People aren't all bad.

Nice to hear.
Without meaning to sound like a raging hippy, I wish everyone could be more courteous to each other on the roads. Giving up your right of way, letting someone out of a side turning or even waiting patiently for someone to complete a manoeuvre would make driving a much nicer experience.
I'm just off to hug a tree.

Makes a change, good to hear about it.

Small point, I think it's brake, not "break", "break" meaning to make something broken.
Now, I don't know about you but I wouldn't want broken brakes.

Makes a change from the usual two finger salute or the old 'Gareth Hunt'signal given by the sort of utter tw@t who makes a potentially life wrecking mistake only for the innocent party to avoid certain disaster.
These people not only can't admit a mistake they then turn their pathetic, misplaced embarrasment/rage on the other party.

I was trying to exit a supermarket petrol station today, from the airline exit rather than the main one though. Visibility was poor due to the angles, so I edged out slightly to get a better view, nothing coming, so move slowly out. Cue some bint in a 3 series cabrio screaming to a halt in front of me.
Bearing in mind this is a supermarket car park and she must have being doing 25mph+ I wasn't impressed.
Still, ultimately my fault I suppose, so I put hand up, mouth "sorry" and carry on. When we get to the roundabout her OH is giving me the coffee beans from the passenger seat. Some people eh? No need.
Anyway, good for you OP. Pistonheads - courtesy matters.
