My AJP griff has a new home!

This may come as a bit of a suprise to some of you, but I have sold my griff today
It wasn`t a decision taken lightly after all of the hard work I have put into it over the last 4 years, especially the last 18months with the new ajp8 engine transplant, in some ways last year I felt that it was starting to rule my life really,it was a bit of an obsession
so after having it finished and enjoying driving it for the last 11 months, I decided to cash in on my hard work and have done a very good deal with Jason of Str8six for a very nice 2005 T350.( I almost changed my mind at the last minute)!
I hope Jason has a lot of fun with the car, as he wanted it for himself, and he has promised to bring it to the Growl so people can have a look at it.
I will still be popping up on the griff forum, you lot aren`t getting rid of me yet, someone has to take the P out of Quinny and Pasco(who has dissapeared of the face of the earth again, must be a dad by now?)I`ve met some great characters and made some good mates via this forum.
yes I will be at the growl, so see you there for a beer and natter.

I was wondering who was going to end up with my much, much loved T350c. It's a very special car still for me and my partner and the fact is, I have not been the same since I made the biggest mistake of my life letting her go.
If you want to email me with your No's we can talk all about the old girl. I had the car for over 4 years and I know every inch of the car.
Good luck and enjoy, and most important please, please try and stick to the speed 6 engine, its the perfect engine for a T350c. A little upgrade to a 4.3 would not go a miss, and I am talking speed 6 still!

hi Chris, YHM, don`t worry, this will be staying a speed 6, I`ve had enough playing around for a while, and the car feels perfect as it is, if I feel the urge to start playing again I am going to buy an unfinished kit car of some sort and put an obscene lump in something like a DuttonI was wondering who was going to end up with my much, much loved T350c. Its obviously been a much loved car,and will continue to be, I haven`t even looked through the folder of receipts that came with it yet, in fact I`m so excited about it, I`ve got up early this morning so I can get out there and wax it, then dissapear in it before the mrs wakes up!

The way you spoke at that RR in Sheffield I had a feeling the old girl wasn't going to be around much longer. You'd put so much time and effort into making it the perfect AJP Griff - and succeeded - there was nowhere else to go.
Really pleased for you though. Here's hoping you have as much fun with the T350.

No worries Del, Cliff has already put the bin bag, wig & high heels in the post. He wouldn't just heartlessly dump Quinny without nominating a replacement... and now Baldy's gone you're IT!

hi Dave, well the saggy is a long way off, unless the lotto numbers come up, so the t350 is as close as I`ll get to it at the moment, I did worry on the way home from Jason`s about making the right choice, but having it out on some local roads last night has made my mind up, this car handles superbly, and dare I say it, it is so much more enjoyable to drive than the griff, they are two totally different cars, and they should be to considering one is 5 yrs old and the other is 14 this year, horses for courses an all that, but personally I`m loving it to bits at the moment!
