If you were to cobble together a Top Gear episode out of all your favourite bits what would it be? You are allowed one each from the following catagories.

Stig Lap: "The Stig" in the Ferrari FXX
Star In A Reasonably Priced Car: Has to be Will Young.
Clarkson V The other 2 Race: Ferrari 612 V Swiss transport system
Construction Project: Reliant Robin Space Shuttle
Cheap Car Challenge: Ferrari/Maserati/Lambo run to Spearmint Rhino
Road test: Mercedes CLK Black.

Thoughts?

isnt that a "best of"£ compilation?

For me, I just want them to get back to series 3/4- 3 mates who knew about cars, talking cars (like the isle of man asston v Porsche v M6, for example). Rather then the cartoon charachters they have become, with daft opinions and silly arguing. Still love the cars, just find it really hard to bond with the charachters now. And you've only got to look at what they can be like-outside of top gear- to know how good it could really be

Stig Lap - Aston Martin DBR9, oh the noise!

Star In A Reasonably Priced Car - Either Kevin McCloud or Brian Johnson.

Clarkson V The other 2 Race - Has to be the Veyron race.

Construction Project - Amphibious cars the first time round, very funny.

Cheap Car Challenge - Buying the 2 door coupe that isn't a Porsche.

Road test - Porsche 911, Aston Vantage and BMW M6 on the Isle of Man.

Track test - Although not filmed at Dunsfold, the 987 Boxster S vs SLK 55 comparison was memorable

Construction Project - None, a completely st and pointless part of TG IMO

Cheap Car Challenge - £2k Porsches

Top Gear peaked when they had 3 Supermarine Spitfires on the show. They are never going to top that unless they get the BBMF's Lancaster and do some low flying, or perhaps the 3 of them in the back seats of some Tornado's around some Welsh valleys. I was hoping for a TV spin-off by May on aircraft, but while he has done a few bits for TV, not enough for me, sadly.
