Just awaiting my mate to sort out an issue with the V5C (incorrect engine size when imported- listed as a 2.0)

The car is (I think) pearl white- it hasn't been polished in a whilehehe needs a little bit of paint here & there, a cambelt & good service.

Anway, are there any good MX5 breakers? Or a good website to find shiney trinkets to stick on it?

I'll be after either some original alloys, or a nice set of wide minilites.

Oh, and anyone know a good cure for slow electric windows?

I just lived with my windows but I think you can lube the runners. A good breaker is autolink - they have an eBay presence and are well known and respected breakers too.

They sell all the parts you'd need, along with a load of bling.

Thanks for the replies, I shall report back with some pictures!

Anyone know what the paint code is for the Pearl White?

I don't recall Pearl white being a Mazda colour. As far as I can remember the Mk1 came in Chrystal white (paint code UT) or Chaste white (paint code PT).

As for wheels, you might want to keep an eye out on eBay for some Watanabes - like a JDM version of minilites:

Perfect thumbup

I'm not sure it's pearl white- ATM it's flat whitehehe it could have been a layer of ste that's adhered itself to the paintconfused

Any ideas what the mk2.5 alloys fetch- I assume they're the 2.5 (5 spoke design) not sure on the size- same as these:

Those wheels have been selling at £120+ a set on ebay recently. Annoying as I missed a set early in the year which went for about £50 and they were immaculate.

If you've got a standard set (minilite), or something I could stick on of interest- like the wannatabes, maybe would could do a deal??

Also, I've got to do the cambelt on it. Is it worth replacing the waterpump, tensioner and idler pulleys at the same time?

He did mention he was getting strange temp readings about a year ago, all seems to be fine now, but it will be on my mind. Do they suffer coolant issues? Dodgy thermostatsan or senders?

yeah i'd do them just for peace of mind if nothing else as taking the cambelt gives you access to it all anyway.

probably replace cam cover gasket too, and CAS o-ring if needed (if it's leaking, which sometimes they do). use a genuine mazda cam cover gasket tho or that will leak too.
