I'm in Pegan but will be doing Hull to Zeebrugge instead of the drag down the country.

Nicer camp site than usual would be nice also. I'm looking into Maison Blanche or Houx or reverting to White Rabbit who now have a private area.

We are going to go with the White rabbit campsite - i know its more expensive than most others but to be honest I have not read one bad thing about it, no idiots or tea leafs, good facilities and your pride and joy is safe.

all those that are interested even if you can not get a car full of people let me know we might be able to put you in another car.

I have set up a bank account so people can save a little each month towards the trip either via paypal or DD.

We have got 8 people confirmed all ready including 4 le man virgins and his mrs (Im sure she thinks it will be like Ascot!)

I'll be heading down and will see you there - we're already booked in. The WRR set up is one of the best I've been on now they're on the new site. Not the cheapest, but we'd rather camp there and go GA than in Beausejour and get a Tribune. Spent most of the race this year in the Marshall's campsite - didn't even need a ticket!

We'll definitely be down again... but how do you know the confirmed dates so soon? Yes, it's pretty much guaranteed that it will be that weekend but the ACO doesn't confirm it until November time usually.

There is always an annual argument about dates on the Le Mans forum, bit of a tradition really smile

The ACO have had to release the dates due to some other events taking place -

PCGB used 1st Tickets this year Stu.

Also not sure if we will use PCGB next year....Beausejour was just a tad too far away from everything (except Arnage of course) and access to the campsite was a bit of a trek through other sites before you got to the main road!

We'll have to see what the consensus of the rest of the boys is! Should we look at Team Langustine for example? There's been good feedback of their site at Tetre Rouge. smile

Al - you organising next year then or are you going it alone with Caroline? smile

The Wrr site has had great reviews for safety and atmosphere so you want to have a nosey at the White rabbit racing website, they are close to porsche curves so not a bad spot and only 10/15 min from main grandstand by foot.

As Sylv's off skiing with the school for a week, I should have plenty of points in the bank for a Le Mans trip. Tom might fancy it too biggrin

Be very interested in this - i'd be another number to add to the Le Mans virgins list - a lack of friends with any interest in motorsport really doesn't help!

Cheers

Guys guys guys - before this thread goes off kilter with suggestions for other sites and organisers etc, I have drawn up a plan for those that have emailed me and will get that off to you today - if you have any questions just give me a call.
We have about 11 confirmed,5 that still need a pass off the boss of the house and 5 others interested, once we get to 15 confirmed I will make all the bookings for crossings, campsite and tickets etc

Paul
