A little help please...

Hi, I'm just about to go [tuesday] on our annual french holiday and as usual the V70 is pressed into long suffering service getting us to Carcassone [S.France] and today the CD player packed up, gobbled all the CDs and won't play them or give me them back! The screen says 'CD Error'.

Now the journey without CDs will be insufferable and there is no chance at all of getting the thing seen to at such short notice, so guys how do you remove the CD unit?

It's an HU-850 unit, 55 plate V70, had a quick look but could see no obvious way to get it out of the dash c/console, please help as French radio drives me crackers and I don't want an accident whilst having been distracted in punching the radio repeatedly as some gabbling French lunatic DJ does his best to infuriate me.

ANY help appreciated, can wield screw-drivers/spanners/hammers with reasonable dexterity.

It doesn't [never has] suffer mechanical woes, just the HU-850 needs taking out and looking at.
